We loved staying at this well-maintained place, it was in a perfect location on the outskirts of the town, close to the Santander ferry and the town centre - we didn't want to leave and highly recommend it!

Very spacious rooms and public areas. Stylish decor and furnishings. Excellent value. Very good disabled facilities.
Location could be better but ok if you have a car.The Hotel has changed ownership and we did not think the food was as good as on our previous visit. However there was nothing to really complain about and the hotel is of a high standard particularly for the price charged.

The friendly professional care given by all staff. The beds were extremely comfortable. Air-condiontion controlled by each guest as rooms are designed for guest comfort. The indoor and outdoor pool were very clean and again the staff in the leisure areas most helpful. The jacuzzi is the latest up market design and solely for guest pleasure. The inclusive breakfast surpasses all the we expect with a clean shiney dining room with tastefully decore and a staff to match the wonderful setting. The down side... Unable to order a wonderful glass of mateus or any rosada by the glass, as I don't enjoy rosada but my wife does. Sitting on the terrace for a nightcap a bottle is too much. The house red wine is the worst I have drank in many years (I had to leave it) and a change in supplier is definitely required. .
With the price charged in ratio to all the services given, the friendly staff and the cleaniness of the hotel in general I would be either hard press or nit picking and therefore not relevant. That on a given day some event might mar a persons stay but would be rare and unlikely. We stay for two nights the 24th and 25th of June 2011 and had two rooms, 207 and 203. We will definetly not look for any other hotel while travelling in this region. To often we the travellers forget to say thank you to all your staff for our wonderful stay in your hotel. Dianne Fries room 207 and Douglas Stewart and Mary Lou Nelson in room 203. Again many thanks for the wonderful stay. You have our Madrid address.

I came here for 1 night and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was well-run and stunningly beautiful, and the staff were kind, enjoyed the unbeatable location next to restaurant, and The Ferry ports of northern Spain. The place had a warm atmosphere.

The service at this hotel was exemplary. Everyone of the staff was helpful, obliging and everything was done with a smile as though they really enjoyed being of service. The location is a little strange because it appears to be in the middle of a housing estate outside the main part of Guarda but it was quieter than it would have been in the town. Can't recommend it enough
I would have preferred a secure internet facility rather than the Vodafone one which we eventually discovered was limited to one machine (I have a laptop and my wife an iPad) and the Log On was rather temperamental and needed to be put in each time you logged on.
